Kate came to the Professional Center Library in August 2008. Prior to her arrival at Wake Forest University she was a senior research librarian at the Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. She has also worked as a law librarian at the New York State Defenders Association Public Defense Backup Center in Albany, New York.

Kate teaches in the Legal Research and Writing program and supervises Interlibrary Loan operations for the Professional Center Library. Her research interests include intellectual property and constitutional law.
